I've always been interested in people.
Long before I worked in AI, I was writing stories and dialogue, trying to understand why some conversations bring people together while others break down. That curiosity eventually led me to conversation design. Today, I design AI interactions with the same question in mind:
How will this response make someone feel?
Because I don't think great conversation design is about finding the perfect words. It's about helping someone leave an interaction feeling clearer, more confident, and supported enough to take the next step.

I’m often asked how screenwriting led me into AI. To me, they're not as different as they seem.
As a writer, I learned that conversations aren't simply an exchange of information. They're built on trust, misunderstanding, empathy, conflict, uncertainty, timing, and all the things people communicate without ever saying aloud.
That same thinking shapes how I design AI experiences today.
Technology doesn't understand subtext.
People do. My role is to bridge that gap thoughtfully.
